For almost the past one week, I spent most of my time reading articles from digg.
Mostly, I don’t really read any thing in English unless I need to. I tried to read the news from BBC or CNN to improve my English, but didn’t work out for me at all.
I think it was because the news articles on those major news sites are a little bit too serious for learning purpose to an ESL person. Although I need to agree that these sites did helped with increasing my vocabularies magnificently.
In the other hand, the articles at digg were “digged” by users. It offers big verities of articles, some of them are breaking news, some are interesting things happened in our daily life. These articles were filtered by thousands of viewers, the most useful and must-know things are all here. It gives me very good reading experiences, the articles are easier and clearer to read; I can find everything up-to-date in it.
digg would be my favorite web2.0 site for sure.
